An ethical AI approach
Given all the misapprehension about the use of AI in the fiction space, it’s important to underscore some of the ethical standards we’ve laid out:
- Our AI is designed to support, not replace, authors. To that end, we provide analytical feedback and we don’t use generative AI that displaces authors from the writing process.
- All of the bestsellers in our database are rights-cleared. We use them for Marlowe’s analysis and for authors to compare their books to bestselling works.
- We don’t use authors’ submitted manuscrips to train our AI.
