For Marlowe to analyze your manuscript, make sure you submit it in the proper format. Please follow these simple steps and check each box to confirm:

If I used Track Changes, I’ve accepted all changes and stopped tracking.
I have deleted all comments and footnotes from my manuscript.
Because some fonts use strange encoding, I’m using only Times, Arial, or Helvetica. (If not, please select all, convert, and save.)
I have removed all front matter. (E.g. title page, testimonials, dedication, epigraph, but not the prologue)
I have removed all back matter. (E.g. acknowledgments, about the book, further readings, etc.)
I have removed all running headers and footers – including book title, author name, and page numbers. (Find it under View > Header and Footer.)
I have used “Save As” and created a new .doc, .docx, or .txt file. Sorry, no PDFs. (This “Save As” step is important. Please do not simply save your existing file. Saving your document as a new file will help ensure that it uploads correctly and cleanly.)
